Key Things to Remember

If you are shooting video for feedback, here are the essentials:

Keep the skier centered

Keep the skier in the center of the frame - if the skier is making big turns then you need to move your hand or arms to keep that frame centered. Watching someone zig zag in and out of the video isn't very helpful.

Keep the zoom constant

The skier should take up 40-60% of the video. Don't panic zoom out when they get closer. Remember, we need to see the skis on the snow to know what is going on with their skiing.

Keep it level

Most camera apps have a level indicator. Turn it on!
