Your questions answered
If I go with my group of friends, will we ski together all day?
Groups larger than 4 people are usually divided by skill level to ensure the best experience for everyone. If your levels are similar, you'll ski together.
When’s the best time of the season to go skiing?
Each area of the Andes peaks at different times. That’s why we adjust our operations based on the conditions. Check our availability calendar to find the best dates.
How many runs do we do per group?
Each program varies based on conditions and group pace. In our experience, we've never ended a Heliski day without our clients feeling thrilled and satisfied.
What skiing level is required for heliskiing?
We recommend at least a strong intermediate level to fully enjoy the experience. That said, heliskiing isn’t necessarily extreme or difficult. Most of our clients are families or groups of friends, and we tailor the adventure to each person’s level.
What kind of clothing should I bring?
Dress like you would for a ski resort — no need to bring a backpack. We provide each client with a Black Diamond Jetforce Airbag pack that includes avalanche safety gear. Please note: no loose clothing is allowed inside the helicopter.
What if we can’t fly during my stay?
IBEX HELISKI allows you to reschedule your Heliski day at no extra cost at any time during the 2025/2026 season. If you prefer, we offer an 80% refund.
